You have some questions?

We're answering it!

Discover the most frequently asked questions our specialists receive about professional insurance.

What compulsory insurance must my company or self-employed business have?
In Switzerland, your obligations vary depending on your status:

✔ For companies with employees: occupational accident insurance (and non-occupational accident insurance if the employee works at least 8 hours per week), occupational pension provision (LPP above a certain income), AVS/AI/APG, and maternity/paternity insurance are all compulsory.

✔ For self-employed persons: you must contribute to AVS/AI/APG and, if you hire staff, take out compulsory insurance for your employees.

Depending on your activity, other types of cover may be essential (professional liability, daily sickness benefits, business interruption, cyber insurance, etc.). We analyse your situation to ensure your compliance and security.
How can attractive social conditions help me retain my key employees?
High-quality social benefits are a powerful tool for retaining talent. As an employer, offering attractive occupational pension schemes (above-statutory plans, supplementary risk cover, extra-statutory plans) or enhanced group insurance (supplementary accident insurance, daily sickness benefits) demonstrates your commitment to your employees.

These benefits increase your teams' satisfaction and loyalty. Insurance Keepers helps you design a tailor-made plan that combines attractiveness and cost control.
What are the best ways to prepare for retirement as a self-employed person?
In Switzerland, self-employed individuals are not automatically affiliated with the 2nd pillar (LPP). It is therefore essential to actively build up your retirement savings through private solutions such as the tied 3rd pillar (3a), which offers tax advantages, or the flexible 3rd pillar (3b) for greater flexibility. Depending on your activity, it is also possible to voluntarily join a pension fund.

Insurance Keepers advises you on building a strategy that combines security, tax optimisation and performance, tailored to your situation.
